Closed captioning

To turn closed captioning on/off or to edit your settings:

  • Press left on your remote's directional pad to open the main menu.
  • Select "Settings," and then select "Accessibility."
  • Once you're on the "Accessibility" screen, select "Closed Captioning"
  • From here you can edit all of your closed captioning settings, including font size, style, color, opacity, and other settings.

 

Descriptive video service (DVS)

DVS is an audio track that describes the visual elements of what's happening on-screen.  Not all programs have a DVS track available. If available, the program will show a DVS icon in the program information.

To turn DVS on/off:

  • Press left on your remote's directional pad to open the main menu.
  • Select "Settings," and then select "Accessibility."
  • Once you're on the "Accessibility" screen, select "Video Description"
  • From here you can turn DVS on and off.

 

Secondary audio programming (SAP)

Secondary audio programming (SAP) is an alternate audio stream in a language other than the program's native language.  Not all programs have an SAP track available. If available, the program will show an SAP icon in the program information.

To turn SAP on/off or to choose your language:

  • Press left on your remote's directional pad to open the main menu.
  • Select "Settings," and then select "Language."
  • From here, you can turn SAP on or off and you can also select your preferred language.
