Using the Customer Portal DVR

With the Customer Portal DVR, you can search for and set recordings for live TV movies and TV shows from the convenience of your Layer3 TV Customer Portal login.  

To access, log into the Customer Portal and click on DVR.

How do I record a TV show or movie using the Customer Portal DVR?

1. Use the time buttons (1) and the arrow keys (2) to find the program you would like to record.  Then select a program from the guide (3).select-a-program-in-the-guide.jpg

2. Click on Record

The recording is now set.  You'll see a recording confirmation (1) and confirmation message (2).  Click Close to close the confirmation message.

You'll also see a recording confirmation on the Live Guide on your TV.

How do I record a series in the Customer Portal DVR?

1. Use the time buttons (1) and the arrow keys (2) to find the program you would like to record. Then select a program from the guide (3).

 You'll also see a recording confirmation on the Live Guide on your TV.

How do I cancel a recording?

Navigate to the recording entry and click on Cancel Episode Recording (1) or Cancel Series Recording (2).

Where can I find a list of all of my recordings?

You can find a list of your recordings on your DVR menu on your set-top box. See Manage DVR recordings in your DVR Library.
